Dear bloggers, these pictures are pictures of students who are undergoing remedial reading in our school with the assistance of their peers/co-students. It's a warm- feeling that some students, despite hectic schedules, are very much willing to give their time, effort and assistance to those whom they believe need most. We do invite everyone to share their feelings.
As seen in the pictures, remedial reading classes are done in our "Science and Math" garden because we don't have enough space in our school to accommodate them all which however, is affected by the change of weather. It's a sad thing that an endeavor as noble as this is taken lightly by the DepEd. By posting in this blog, we are anticipating that hearts will be moved to help us in any form that you know, i.e books, manuals, etc. Thank you for being one in this worthwhile endeavor. For questions, queries etc., you can e-mail them to: jenfranz000@gmail.com or to mfrancisquete@yahoo.com.

PURE MIND
Every child under our care deserves every special treatment. We are under divine obligation to bring out the best in them.
The ability to read is both necessary and crucial for children’s academic success. The importance of success in reading for life-long achievement must not be underestimated; how well a child learns to read , may determine future opportunities including not only career but also his or her ability to accomplish the basic activities of daily life. Along with reading comes the importance of comprehension. It is optimal that a child should be able to comprehend what he/she reads and to grasp the information that is presented to him/her. Often a child who cannot do so is put on a path to frustration and broken confidence.

what's in a word?
Hi! I welcome everyone to comment on my blog! I am just bothered my most of the students in the public school can't communicate themselves very well in English? What's wrong? If they are to expound their ideas, they are lost in oblivion?
